Sarah Frisby, Letter to Benjamin Chew, 1800
Sir,
I understand the Land mortgaged
to you by my Brother Benjn Noxon
is to be sold at your Suit, I shall take
it as a particular favour if you will
inform me when and in what manner
the old Brick House and about thirty
acres of Land have been rented seperate
from the farm, this part I wish to…
purchase, if I can collect the money
against the Sale, there is a small
frame House situated in a very central
part of the Farm, which was built
for a tenant, it is generally conceived
it will be an advantage to the Sale to
dispose of it in this manner. I am
Sir yours with Respect.
