 1st That must be the third Number which asketh
 the Question.
 
 2d First and third number must be of one name or so
 reduced.
 
 3dly The middle number if of several Denominations must be
 reduced into the lowest mentioned of lower if occasion require
 
 4thly Multiply second and third numbers together and divide
 that product by the first number & the Quotient is the
 answer to the Question in the name you left your middle
 number in--
